County Management System (CMS)

Introducing the Hampshire Hockey County Management System (CMS)

The Hampshire Hockey Association (HHA) is excited to introduce the County Management System (CMS)—a purpose-built platform designed to streamline the administration of hockey across Hampshire. This modern system provides clubs and schools with an efficient and secure way to manage key hockey operations, from registering officials to organising competitions and fixtures.

Why We Developed the Hampshire CMS

With the increasing complexity of hockey administration, evolving compliance requirements, and the need for better data security, HHA recognised the necessity of a new, robust system. The passing of Tex Lane, who had long been responsible for maintaining our previous system, highlighted the challenges of keeping outdated technology running. While we temporarily hosted the old system, it became clear that a more advanced and fully compliant solution was needed to support the future of Hampshire Hockey.

The CMS is the answer—offering an intuitive, centralised platform for clubs, schools, and county administrators to manage their hockey operations efficiently.

Key Features of the Hampshire CMS

  • Club & School Administration: Securely store and manage details of key officials, including Chairmen, Secretaries, Treasurers, and competition contacts.
  • Competition & League Management: Easily create and manage leagues, cup competitions, and fixtures while allowing clubs and schools to register and organise their participation.
  • Communication & Notifications: Keep club and school representatives informed with automated notifications and updates regarding fixtures, competition deadlines, and important county news.
  • Privacy & Security Compliance: Built to meet modern data protection standards, ensuring all personal and organisational data is handled securely.

Who Needs to Use the Hampshire CMS?

The CMS is designed for:

  • Clubs – Each club must register key officials, including the Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Cup Prime Contact, and Junior Prime Contact.
  • Schools – Each school must register a Junior Prime Contact and a Finance Contact.
  • County Administrators – Responsible for managing leagues, competitions, and overall hockey governance in Hampshire.

How to Get Started

  1. Register an Account – Officials must create their personal profiles and select their associated club or school.
  2. Enter Official Details – Each club and school must ensure that all required contacts are entered and kept up to date.
  3. Manage Competitions & Fixtures – Clubs and schools will be able to register for competitions, arrange fixtures, and submit results as new modules come online.
  4. Stay Updated – The CMS will continue to evolve based on user feedback and system enhancements.

Looking Ahead

We are committed to making the Hampshire Hockey CMS a vital tool for clubs and schools. As the system is rolled out, we appreciate your patience and cooperation. This is a major step forward in improving how hockey is managed in Hampshire, and we look forward to working together to ensure its success.
